PRODUCT DETAILS
Moderate support/protection for the front leg/wrist.
Helps to support the wrist joint and relieve pain associated with:

arthritis
-
degenerative joint disease
-
hyperextension injuries
-
ligament strains and sprains
-
wrist deviation/deformity
This brace is also useful after splint or cast removal so that your pet has a transitional support to help prevent re-injury.
For active dogs that only need light support try Carpo-Flex Sports Wrap.
Stability Straps
Carpo-Flex X comes with stability straps - you apply them where needed on the outside of the brace for added support. If you need more stability straps, they can be purchased separately.
Foam Padding
Foam padding is used to improve comfort and protection of the leg. Foam padding sticks to the inside of the brace and can be purchased separately.
Anti-Chafing Powder
If your pet has sensitive skin, we recommend applying anti-chafing powder inside the brace to help protect the leg. Power sold separately.
Care Instructions
Carpo-Flex X is made of washable, easy-to-care-for material. Use warm water and mild detergent and let air dry.
Customized Fit
Carpo-Flex-X comes in 5 sizes and can be trimmed in width and height for a better fit. Cinching strap ends can be trimmed off if too long.
Carpo-Flex X MODIFIED
If your pet does not fit into a standard size, consider selecting the "Carpo-Flex X MODIFIED" version at checkout. The MODIFIED version is cut to size to fit your pet. Foam padding and stability straps are applied for you based on the information you provide about your pet.
For pets that require a custom brace, we recommend the Custom Carpal Support.

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS
Figure A-Circumference. Use a measuring tape or piece of string to measure around your dog's wrist area where the wrist bends and at the widest point.
Figure B-Height. Use a measuring tape or piece of string to measure the distance from the back of your dog's leg, starting from the back of the paw (or floor) to about half way up the leg.

Carpo-Flex X should fit snugly around the wrist. The bottom portion should sit just above the paw, and the back should almost graze the ground when the dog is standing. If the bottom back tab is too long, it can be trimmed with scissors.
